Flying into Bhutan - the flight into Paro is one of the most spectacular in the world, with an intricate and exhilarating final descent into the kingdom. Please note that due to variable weather conditions, and the fact that Paro airport can only operate during daylight hours, flight delays can occur. It is advisable to keep lengthy connecting times with any onward flights.
Also, there is no prior seat allocation available on Drukair or Bhutan Airlines flights into Bhutan from any sector in the economy or business class.
Domestic Air Travel
Drukair also operates domestic flights within Bhutan. These flights take place from Paro to Bathpalathang (Bumthang), and Paro to Yonphula (east Bhutan). This air link will provide an excellent opportunity for those wanting to explore the western and eastern districts of Bhutan without the lengthy drive times.
